1. Try to share root f/s and try to access it from other remote system.
2. Mount the f/s shared by host-A being on host-B and then try to share it to host-C.
3. Check out the clients that are using your shared mount point.
4. Find out the current NFS version we are working with.
5. Share a particular f/s to a particular client in a network.
6. Share the cd rom and try to access it from the remote machine.
7. Check out the configuration files for NFS and try to understand the attributes.
8. Understand the client side daemons and the server side daemons and their responsibilities.
9. Automount the file system shared by the server sitting on an client machine.
10. Understand the difference between the direct mount and indirect mount.
